It proposes a new housing model for those who want more than the typical flat or estate: thoughtful, adaptable, cost-transparent homes that prioritise people over profit.

Affordable freestanding houses often require extensive upgrades and security work. Flats tend to have compact rigid layouts and low-grade finishes. Estates promise simplicity, but at the cost of urban engagement.

Why InsideOut?
Architecture-led how?
InsideOut homes are designed from the lived experience of home. Rigorously designed to redefine ‘luxury’, we reduce on material to budget for better space, and we spend on climatic low-carbon design to budget for a better future. It stands in contrast to the ‘cookie-cut’ flat layout crammed into a box that maximises on zoning rights and profit. Outside we prioritise communal spaces – shared gardens and playgrounds – bringing neighbours from the inside, out.
Design quality is embedded early, costs are transparent, and future residents help shape key decisions. The aim is to protect intent and spatial generosity without losing sight of budget or context. This isn’t a conventional property launch. It’s a test of whether housing can be made with greater care.
